First, this is my first IRL viewing of a Fiat 500L. My God they’re ugly. No wonder sales are bad. Didn’t look like it handles the road well at all. Reminds me of a guy who skips legs days and only does dumbbells.
Then there was this...
Actually made me laugh out loud. 1. Cause this is in one of the hipper/hipster parts of Tulsa and 2. Weed will be legal on other planets before Oklahoma OKs it.
Drinking A Stiegle beer now. And it is quite tasty!

When the auto show came to Central Florida, Fiatsler had set up test drives for the a few cars. The 500L was one of them.
When that car came round the corner, every one in it jumped right the fuck out. I’d never seen a line empty so fast, it was as if it was the line for getting a free sample of Ebola.

Drove a 1.3l diesel one for about week. Look at the front windshield. It has the main part and then the sides which is wierd when driving. Also had an auto re-start when you stalled it which was enevitable with such an anemic engine and an auto brake hill start feature. Got great mileage though and had to sleep in in one night which would have sucked in the smaller 500.

Sales are bad because these are horrible. Built in the same factory that the Yugo was built in.....the 500x, on the other hand...that one is da sex!

The interior of the 500L is actually quite nice and airy, with superb visibility. It’s like the opposite of a sports car: great to be seen in, not to see out.
The size is good overall. I don't think every Fiat model needs to be called a 500-somethung.
